Cardiolex Medical AB (”Cardiolex”) has on Oct 31, 2019 acquired the company Amedtec Medizintechnik Aue GmbH in Germany (”Amedtec”).

For Cardiolex, that has a leading position on the ECG market in Sweden, this acquisition has an important strategic value as it opens new markets in Europe and supports Cardiolex international growth plan.

Amedtec is one of the largest local suppliers of ECG systems in Germany and they offer complete solutions for Cardio-Pulmonary systems through their German sales force and a European distributor network. Through this acquisition both companies will get access to a larger market with an expanded product portfolio that offers several growth opportunities.

”The acquisition of Amedtec is in line with our growth strategy and our ambition to expand the success we have had in Sweden to the rest of Europe. We see great opportunities with Cardiolex vendor neutral solutions for storing and sharing ECG recordings in Germany and the rest of Europe”, says Johanna Genberg, CEO of Cardiolex Medical AB.
